Reviews Battlefield 1 History Lesson Without Boredom
The game of shooting with a background of world war became
the most sought after by most gamers. At least that was reflected in the
comments on YouTube when the first trailer for Battlefield 1 was released a few
months ago.
Not without reason, gamers turned out to be bored with
futuristic-themed warfare that has been presented in several shooting games
lately. Therefore, the emergence of Battlefield 1 seems to bring fresh air for
lovers of shooter genre games.
Battlefield 1 appears as a continuation of the previous
Battlefield game, namely Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline. For the
latter, many consider if Battlefield Hardline becomes a failed Battlefield
series but not all of them think the same thing
In its development, the game publisher Electronic Arts took
the subscription developer, DICE, who was previously often trusted to work on
the Battlefield game.
Battlefield 1 takes you through the historic conflicts that
are most rarely raised in the form of games, namely World War I.
Unlike the case with World War II, which was often appointed
as a game, World War I was very minimal to the theme of a game, especially with
large development costs.
Answering what gamers want, the first impression that seems
to emerge from what DICE and EA are trying to do with the latest Battlefield
series - Battlefield 1. Ignore temporarily the strange name that might end up
confusing, especially with the fourth and third series that seem to stick
strongly in the mind many gamers nowadays. The first one was chosen and taken
to represent the theme he took - the First World War. A concept that not only
succeeded in displaying them with extraordinary through the first trailer with
the strains of Seven Nation Army remixes from White Stripes, but also executed
sweetly in the final version. That this is a clear answer to the demand of
gamers who have long wanted the return of the classic war theme. The answer is
enough to make your neck hair goose bumps.
You who have read our previous preview, of course already
have a little picture of what is offered by Battlefield 1, at least from the
single player mode that is now offered in a far different format. For the
Playstation 4 version which is in fact not exactly the strongest gaming
platform on the market, Frostbite Engine's ability to showcase visual quality
with sophisticated detail and dramatic destruction effects looks mesmerizing.
The Battlefield 1 campaign mode approach does make this series unique and more
personal, something they have never traveled before. Unfortunately in
yesterday's preview article, we didn't touch the multiplayer mode at all.
So, what exactly is offered by this Battlefield 1? Why do we
call it a game that meets the hype? This review will discuss it deeper for you
with an extra series of screenshots of the multiplayer mode that we haven't
included in the previous preview article in the last section.
History Lesson
Without Bored
All gamers agree that learning is boring. However, how about
studying while playing games? That's another story.
Battlefield 1 offers history lessons without boring us. This
first person shooter (FPS) game - though sometimes it is a third person shooter
in several modes - offers six fictional stories with a historical background in
World War I.

There
are so many FPS games scattered during the existence of modern gaming
platforms, one or two previous generations. Apart from all the background of
the story carried, almost all franchises that carry the theme of modern or
classical war always position you as one or more main characters, who are
involved in one big conflict and play a super significant role in it. You could
be a soldier who helped prevent a cold war between China and the United States,
thwarted a nuclear war plan from a group of terrorists or something else. There
is a cliché tendency there, fortunately, not offered by Battlefield 1
