Star Wars Squadrons Has Its Epic Battle Gameplay


Squadrons officially show off their gameplay.

After it was announced that Electronic Arts would release Star Wars: Squadrons as a fighter game from its franchise. Today they finally show how the gameplay of one of the games that they present with the Star Wars: Battlefront II developer.

In the video duration of approximately five minutes above, seen some space battles between rebel and empire. Both of these factions can be played both in single player and multiplayer Star Wars: Squadrons. This game also presents several classic aircraft and giant aircraft carriers that also appear in the film.

The developer, Motive Studio or EA Motive explained that the story will focus on two characters that players make from rebel and empire. The game will also present a number of "familiar figures" who will likely be a surprise when Star Wars: Squadrons is released.

The singleplayer mode will dwell after the story of Return of the Jedi. Interestingly, the game will provide VR support both PS4 and PC complete with crossplay for multiplayer both via console and PC.

The gameplay itself also shows how the aircraft's cockpit display and all monitor displays. Where you can monitor several aircraft conditions including energy, ammunition, and others. The following planes can be played in the game:

Star Wars: Squadrons will be released on October 2, 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can read our article summary including when the game was first announced, how to support the game controller, to the PC specifications needed to play it.

Star Wars: Squadrons will be present on Xbox One, PS4, and PC which can be accessed from the Origin, Steam, and Epic Games Store services. Electronic Arts does not seem as stingy as it used to be, when their game was exclusively available at Origin.



Based on the gameplay video on display, here gamers can choose to become fighter pilots from various Star Wars factions. Similar  to games like Ace Combat, dogfight or chase planes will be an attraction in addition to visual space typical of Star Wars.

Later there are about eight types of classes on the plane for each faction, such as fighter, bomber, and others. Each plane has a unique attack. So in multiplayer mode which consists of five gamers in one team they have to devise the right strategy.

There are various multiplayer modes provided, one of which is a large-scale star war named Fleet Battle. So in addition to 5v5, players have a mission to subvert the capital ship which is the largest ship and command of each faction.

Gamers are given the freedom to modify aircraft components that affect performance and attack. Characters from the Star Wars franchise will also appear as cameos in the Star Wars game: Squadrons. All upgrades and modifications can be accessed free of charge as you progress.

As promised this game will also be present in VR (Virtual Reality) mode. In the gameplay video shown VR mode will present a very detailed view of the aircraft cockpit.
