Watch Dogs 2 will be released free of charge by Ubisoft
Although the pandemic has not ended since all the offices
set work at home early last year. But there have been many of them who started
all their activities online. Including the video game company, which is now
starting its online event title to replace the canceled E3 2020. And Ubisoft is
one of them.
Ubisoft apparently still has a new surprise for their fans.
That they will share the PC version of Watch Dogs 2 for free.
Ubisoft Forward will begin on July 13. In this event,
Ubisoft promised several games that they will exhibit, one of which is
Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs Legion, to the new free battle royale
game Hyper Scape. This event is also likely to become the main release stage of
Hyper Scape.
Watchdog Game Series Review
It is no longer a secret that Ubisoft is currently preparing
a sequel to its most famous open-world game - Watch Dogs 2. Although it has not
been officially announced yet, various information that has appeared in
cyberspace over the past few months seems to be an "indirect"
confirmation that the game which focuses on the ability to hack is indeed being
developed. For this 2016 or 2017? It seems we will only get certainty at the E3
event later. New information that appears suggests that it is very likely that
we will no longer use the protagonist character from the first series - Aiden
Pearce.
Ubisoft is currently the new star in the gaming industry.
Successfully attracted worldwide attention through the extraordinary success of
the Assassin's Creed franchise, this developer and publisher is not afraid to
try out the market with a number of titles that are no less anticipated. With
its own charm, genre and complexity, Ubisoft is indeed storing so many cool
games in their arsenal. We talk about projects like The Division, Child of
Light, and of course the latest series of Assassin's Creed, all of which slid
in 2014. But on top of that, Ubisoft also still has one name that was so
anticipated at the end of last year but had to be postponed - Watch-Dogs.
Apart from the enthusiasm, Ubisoft's delay seems to have
been designed to be more mature in this game. After becoming a mystery when
this game will actually be released to the market, Ubisoft finally began to
open up a little detail.
In the newly released fourth quarter financial statement,
Ubisoft clearly states the release time of Watch Dogs which is ready to launch
for the first quarter of 2014 - which means it will be tossed around April -
June 2014, even without a definitive release date. On the same occasion,
Ubisoft also announced the postponement of the Watch Dogs Wii U version which
will be released with a lag time after the Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox
360, Xbox One, and PC versions were released.
Does this mean that the previous rumors that had written
April 25, 2014 as a Watch Dogs released
Ubisoft hasn't talked about Watch Dogs 2 yet, but one of the
motion capture actors named "TheKingCort" leaked a little
information. Through a post via his Instagram account, he showed a new
character for Watch Dogs 2 complete with an existing description that does look
different from the figure of Aiden Pearce that we have known. Who is this
protagonist? For now, it's still a mystery.
